Manuka Oil Skincare Range
Manuka (Tea Tree) oil was originally used therapeutically by the New Zealand Maori. They mixed soothing compounds made from various parts of the manuka tree. Modern research has now revealed manuka oil has powerful anti-microbial properties. Parrs Manuka Oil products contain oil with the highest levels of anti-microbial activity, exclusive to the manuka trees grown in the East Cape region of New Zealand.
Researchers have established that manuka oil has natural antibacterial, antifungal, anti-allergenic, and anti-inflammatory properties to assist in the relief of "skin, mucous membrane and rheumatic ailments." It was found to be well tolerated by the skin and to be helpful for itchy and irritated skin and scalp.
